Runway Auto has made an environmentally-sound decision to use water-based automotive finishes from chemical producer BASF. Our goal is to protect the region’s air, water, and soil by reducing hazardous waste and air pollution. While this product has less impact on the environment, it offers the same protection that traditional solvent-based finishes provide, without VOCs. More than 70% of car manufacturers are already using waterborne paint in original manufacturing specifications. Like all of our services, we stand behind our finishes with a Lifetime Warranty.

I used Runway Auto recently for a repair to my Mazda CX-30 which unfortunately got hit and run in Burlington. I reached out to Rosann and immediately knew that I was in good hands. Although I was nervous throughout the process, she put me at ease. Rosann is professional, kind, and personable. She stayed in touch throughout the entire process to keep me updated and worked with my insurance/rental car company to get the job done relatively stress-free. I recommend Rosann and Runway Auto for body work and car repairs. They clearly have a talented and trustworthy team. I will use Runway Auto again for any future needs!

Runway Auto and Crew (Rosann, Joe, Steve, and all the amazing techs) have repaired two of my vehicles. One sustained significant front-end damage from a vehicle vs. deer on the interstate collision and the other was deep gouges from nose to tail of a new vehicle. In both instances Runway Auto was professional, worked with my insurance company, and kept me apprised of the status of repairs. They were even awesome enough to coordinate a car detailing after the vehicle was repaired but before pick-up. Runway Auto will tell you what you need to know about your vehicle's repair and not what your insurance company wants them to tell you. They do a great job of educating their customers about required repairs, what insurance companies should be paying for, and ensuring that the vehicle is safe to drive after repairs. I would highly recommend Runway Auto to anyone needing a vehicle repair.

I just got my car back after them having it for a month. Considering all the extra stuff added to the original estimate they had to fix, and adding on long waits for parts, I’m surprised it didn’t take longer . They did a fantastic job, especially compared to the last place on Shelburne road I went to, that did terrible work. Like comparing a novice teenager to a tradesman. They contacted me once a week with updates , worked hard to get everything included with the insurance company. Along with a top notch customer service experience. As long as I live in Vermont, I’m never gonna go to another place for bodywork.

I have used Runway 3 previous times. I took my new car in last week (Weds) after it was hit by another car (insurance exchange). The woman at the front desk was immediately upset that I showed up 1 hour early. I had the wrong time and offered to come back. The rental car person from Enterprise was there and said it was not a problem & a car was being driven over now. The runway auto employee was mad and spoke quickly and rudely to me, but not to another customer who came in, a man. The other customer and I were both able to get through documents smoothly. The runway auto employee spoke respectfully to the man and answered his questions. She did not even give me the same information & when I asked for information such as, “Will you contact me after reviewing damage etc or should I call?” she barely said yes through clenched teeth.I called 2 days later for an update & Was told they would have called next week to say they are waiting on a part. I called again 4 days later as I had not heard back and yet again the same women each time was rude, defensive, etc when all I have asked is for an update and she went off about being so busy.I don’t know if she has a problem with women or what, but it is not the same service as it was years ago. Hope my car is not damaged more being there.

Runway Auto is the best, PERIOD! No one ever wants to use a body repair shop (since this likely means you were in an accident) but it's SO important to choose the correct one when you need to. Runway is the first repair business I know of who doesn't try to cheap out on the repairs by trying to reuse damaged parts. Their motto is to "get your vehicle back into pre-accident condition" and you can't do that with a bunch of USED PARTS & BONDO! They did such a nice job on our vehicle and they even fixed my boss's Range Rover after it was hit by a plow truck. Runway Auto is the only repair shop you should ever consider.

Few things will throw your day off like your car being damaged. When someone backed into my car and damaged the front-end I avoided taking it for repairs since it was able to be driven. I didn’t want to deal with the frustration of coordinating a rental and talking with insurance companies. That is why I’m so thankful for Runway Auto. From the moment I first contacted Runway Auto it was an easy process. The entire experience was centered around me and what I needed to minimize the impact to my life. When I dropped off my car a rental car was waiting for me. I was kept in the loop about the status of repairs. When I arrived to get my repaired vehicle, I was walked through the paperwork so I understood what was happening behind the scenes as the shop and the insurance company discussed repair needs. The whole process was easy and dare I say enjoyable. While I don’t want to have to use Runway Auto again – I certainly won’t hesitate when it becomes necessary. I always refer all auto collision repair work with Runway Auto.

So very helpful. My car was hit from behind and I had no idea of how the process worked with another persons insurance. They talked me through each step, arranged for a rental and dealt with all the third party participants. They knew all the steps that needed to be done. Very helpful and knowledgeable and friendly. I will definitely use them again if I ever need the same type of service.

Runway Auto is incredible, they just treat you like family (the kind you actually like). After we got into an accident, they fixed my car and my mother's car and made them look like new. They fixed both cars within one week! They worked with our insurance company to make the drop off and pick up process hassle free, and they kept us updated frequently so we always knew where our cars were in the process of being repaired.When your car is damaged it can be stressful and painful. Runway Auto took all of that stress and pain away, we were in and out within minutes at the drop off, we received frequent updates, detailed descriptions of what needed to be repaired, and we were in and out within minutes at pick up.The team at Runway Auto is professional, respectful, and very good at what they do, repairing cars. They fix cars like new and after working with them and seeing the high quality of their work, I wouldn't want to take my family's cars to any other body shop.

Had some work done there when I got rear ended. Left my car there while on a trip and it was ready for me to pick up when I returned. I had recently changed my brakes a bit too late and had brake dust all over one of my rims. They took the time to clean it even though it had nothing to do with the work they were doing. I'm sure it didn't take them long but it's the little things that count .

A RAVE REVIEWI had a fender bender on a snowy Vermont road in December. After notifying my insurance company I visited Runway Auto just to be sure my car was safe to drive. This was before any insurance approval. Corinne was friendly and knowledgeable and, after checking my car over, said she’d wait to hear about insurance. The approval came through with no problem, all paperwork was handled by Runway and when I dropped off my car, the rental car was waiting for me.Corinne kept in touch about the repairs and also let me know I could just drop off the rental at Runway when I picked up my car. The car looks great and the whole process could not have been easier. The commitment to customer service promised is exactly what I experienced when dealing with this car repair. I will happily recommend Runway Auto at any opportunity.

We were dealing with an accident caused by another person in a parking lot situation and Runway was incredibly friendly and accommodating about everything.They kept us posted along the way and their reassurances helped us deal with this inconvenience which occurred right before the Christmas season began.They even went the extra mile and cleaned the interior and exterior of the car.As a body shop goes, I can't think of a better place to trust with your vehicle.
